Architect
Kevin Cohen Design is a Los Angeles design-build practice working with homeowners across Southern California and into the Central Valley. Most of the work — design, drawings, and coordination — is handled remotely, with on-site visits scheduled as a project needs them. That is what keeps the practice's reach wide without thinning the attention any one project receives.
Home ground — from the Westside to the Valley, flat lots to the hillside neighborhoods where terrain and light shape the house.
Coastal and inland cities, planned communities and HOA design review — additions, remodels, and ADUs across the county.
The largest county in the country by area — valley, high desert, and mountain homes, each a different design problem.
Southern San Joaquin Valley — generous lots, a hot-summer climate, and real room for additions and ADUs.
Ventura County, ringed by hills — suburban building and foothill-edge homes with slope considerations.
Northwest Valley and beyond — larger lots, hillside ridgelines, and a patchwork of city and independent jurisdictions.
Eastern Valley, City of Los Angeles — deep, semi-rural lots with room to add, convert, or rebuild.
Not on the list? Kevin regularly works with homeowners in the surrounding communities across Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Kern, and San Bernardino counties. Because the practice works remotely with visits as needed, the question is rarely the distance — it is whether the approach fits the project. The best way to find out is to start a conversation.
